Life Begins at the End of your Comfort Zone

A person’s “comfort zone” is called like that for a reason: It’s comfortable and safe. However, your comfort zone can also be a place of stagnation; one that keeps you from seizing opportunities for growth, just because it involves something unfamiliar.

Comfort Zone

Let’s face it, our comfort zone is a reliable place where it allows us to unwind and take a breather during crazy times. Although it sounds nice, it is a killer. You are kept in a stage of not feeling satisfied with your life but you’re not dissatisfied either . You need to get out there and work at your maximum potential to achieve your goals. DON’T BE AFRAID TO TAKE RISKS. You need to do things you don’t usually do because the magic happens out of your comfort zone.

It’s all About Growth

Most of us would agree that we don’t enjoy being uncomfortable or that we “don’t like change”. However most probably none of us would say that we don’t appreciate growth. We all know that growth is what it’s all about. We are our own toughest critics, and staying in the “perfect zone” keeps us stuck.

If it were easy we would all be out of our comfort zone. Here’s the thing: you can’t do it once and expect real change. It requires constant effort  to bring you to a point where you feel comfortable being out there and doing things you always felt scared to.

If you want to achieve certain goals in your life you have to be willing to make changes and overcome your fears as you explore the areas outside of your personal comfort zone.

Embrace the Unknown

Get out of your comfort zone! Take risks. The unknown is where dreams are made. You want something better and in order to do so you need to take risks. Try things you haven’t before. It can be scary to explore the unknown but it will also open doors to great opportunities.

Remember: taking the first steps will always have you feel anxious, although the more you do the better you feel about it. You just have to break the circuit of fear and go for what you want!
